These four women, who train together under coach Yolanda Demus, specialize in the 400m hurdles and incorporate JumpRopeSprint racing into their training regimen.
Lashinda Demus – Hails from Los Angeles and is an alum of the University of South Carolina. Lashinda competed in the two previous Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal at London in the 400 meter hurdles. This summer, she will defend her world championship title in that event and then set her sights on gold during the next Olympic Games in Rio.
Christine Spence – An All American at UNLV and Lashinda’s long-time training partner. Christine’s current goal is to make it to this year’s World Championships.
Dalilah Muhammad – Raised in New York and recently graduated from USC with a business degree. Dalilah met Lashinda and Yolanda in 2012 and began training with them.
MacKenzie Hill – Originally from Long Beach, California, she ran track for UCLA. MacKenzie took a few years off before deciding to join this elite training group.
